As some of you may or may not know my H.T.B is a winemaker at
Pentage Winery in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. I'm extremly happy to announce the recent
award winning wines won by
Pentage in the Northwest Wine Summit.
They won 3 Golds & 2 silvers. I'm so proud of my H.T.B.
I can't explain the feeling I have when Pentage wines win.
It's a really overwheming PROUD feeling to know that all the passion, determination and hard work that Adam puts into his wine always pays off in the end. It's the greatest feeling to see the happiness in his eyes and hear the excitment in his voice when he tells me what wines won.
He truly loves winemaking and everything that comes along with it.
And this shows in every sip of his "liquid art".
If you live in the Okanagan area or plan to be traveling through anytime soon, be sure to stop by the
winery for a visit!
It's a beautiful place and worth a peek! if you haven't had the chance to try any Pentage wines...be sure to keep your eye out for it in your local restaurants and wine shops!
(At the winery, wine can be purchased, but not yet tasted. Pentage winery is in the process of building it's wine shop and new winemaking facility, If the gate is open, visits are more than welcome. Be sure to come on up, and see whats new.)
Well H.T.B. turned 30 on Wednesday June 2nd, so we got the wine glasses and started steaming and polishing!
we celebrated by opening a bottle of
1994 Chateau Latour
H.T.B has been holding onto this one for awhile, he said you can't replace this bottle now, for less than $600.00 
and figured his 30th was a great time to open it.
And the night begins...
As the cork got punctured, his heart was pounding and I'm sure he was sweating a little
Was it the right time to drink it? Should I hold onto it for awhile more?
This one needed a drum-roll while opening...
