- BITTER -
Well we went to see our pup "to be" over the week-end and there has been a slight bump in the road...
(can't say I didn't expect this) only because we were so excited and timing seemed perfect...being the beginning of summer and all.
But in life there are twists and turns and everything happens for a reason...it turns out that the pup we were gonna take home at the end of May (the only male in the litter of 2) has an extreme over bite which will in turn need major surgery to correct because this gets very painful for them over time...the breeder we are working with knows our history and our extreme vet bills and the stress that it has caused us both emotionally and financially. She highly recomended that we don't put ourselves through this and wait a little longer for the "perfect" puppy.
- SWEET -
The good news is that the litter that is due shortly are fathered by the dad who we originally met in the beginning and fell in love with! Everything about him...from his mannerisms...right down to his handsome build.
The down side is that we have to wait a little longer and will not have him until Sept...but the good news is that we can save a little more money to buy him everything he needs and at least the weather is still nice enough out in Sept for training purposes.
