As some of you may know my husband is a winemaker, so naturally we have ALOT of wine around the house and often do much of our cooking with it....so "Trusty Tip #2" is to use up those left over bottles of wine lying around the house by boiling the alcohol out of them and freezing them in an ice tray for easy grab solutions to your next sauce or recipe that calls for wine! This tip is so convenient and easy I just love this trick, so next time you find you have left over wine that won't be drank or is a couple days past it's drinking time try this trusty trick and get cookin!

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this tip! As I am not a big red wine drinker, I often end up with half full bottles that always get wasted and on the flip side will shy away from a recipe that call for a cup of red because I don't want to open a bottle for just the recipe!
